What Is a New-Build Inspection?

What Will This Inspection Cover?
A new build home inspection is an assessment conducted on a newly constructed home before it is officially handed over to the buyer. It is typically done after the builder has finished construction and the property is move-in ready. The inspection covers a wide range of systems and components of the home, including the structure, systems, and appliances. The inspector will ensure the systems and components of the home are properly installed and fully functional.
This inspection will cover single family inspections to the state's standards. This includes the 5 main elements of the home: foundation, plumbing, electrical, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), and roofing, as well as many components within each primary category. Additionally, appliances, fireplaces, fixtures, and other elements of the home will be inspected.
